Happy Marvelous Monday! I hope all the mothers out there had a festive Mother’s Day filled with lots of love!

As we promised, this month is all about showers! Today I put together a small inspiration board for the couple who has everything. How about throwing a co-ed “Stock the Bar” wedding shower? With this shower, guests bring gifts such as the favorite wine of the groom and bride-to-be, ice tongs, and wine tags. How about some tie-the knot toothpicks for the scrumptious hors-d’oeuvres you’ll be serving? How fun, right?

Good Morning and Happy Cinco de Mayo SJE Fans!

Did you miss us? We know things have been a little quiet around here but that’s because we’ve been busy making our clients swoon. This month our focus will be wedding showers! We’ll have ideas about shower locations, what to do for the couple who has everything, and provide you with a few inspiration boards for your viewing pleasure. March Intro: Entertainment

Happy Monday!!! It seems like we just started the New Year and it’s already the last day of February. Time sure flies when you’re having fun! For the month of March we’re going to focus on entertainment. We love to help our brides think beyond the traditional DJ or wedding band.

Your guests love to be entertained of course! We enjoy the fine details of entertainment and once we put our heads together with our brides, we have stellar results. In the past we’ve had a Nigerian dance troupe, an acapella group pose as guests while spontaneously bursting into song, and a Chinese dragon dance; just to name a few. Think outside the box!

Finally, I’ll quote Courtney whose wedding is featured below, “I don’t know if this is appropriate to say because it’s my own wedding but, THIS IS THE BEST WEDDING I’VE EVER BEEN TO!”

Happy Hump Day SJE fans! I know I say this when every new months starts, but seriously can you believe it’s already August?!?!? This time of year makes me think of the cooler months that will be here before we know it. I’m tired of my eyebrows being burned off my face every time I open my car door. Whew! Here in the blazing hot south, we find ourselves booked solid until the end of the year. More specifically Team SJE is booked solid in October. So it’s no wonder I have pumpkin on the brain. I decided to put together this inspiration board to have a little fun with pumpkin. Enjoy!

Good Morning SJE fans! June has proven to be hot and rainy so far for Houstonians. But we’ve come to expect the unexpected here.

The team here at SJE considers NOLA to be our second home. We’ve spent a lot of time in the great city of New Orleans over the years and the vendors have come to know us quite well. As matter of fact we’ve had 2 weddings in NOLA this year and we have 2 more in October!

One of our favorite vendors in the Big Easy is Fat Cat Flowers. Our brides love Fat Cat too! Often we find that brides who reach out to us in the middle of the planning process have already booked Fat Cat Flowers. This is a testament to the stellar work and reputation of the team at Fat Cat Flowers.
